Lluís Ardèvol (Tremp, 1955) is founder and director of Geoplay Pyrenees Ltd since its foundation in 1990. He holds a MSc degree in Geology from the University Autònoma of Barcelona, where he was assistant professor, and has 25 years of field work experience in the Pyrenees.
For one week, Lluís will be your guide when trekking in the Pyrenees. He will teach you local culture, history, and – above all – geology. His intimate knowledge of the southern Pyrenees, gained through field exploration and numerous trips on the trails, combined with excellent skills as an educator, make him the perfect leader for curious ‘amateur’ geologists.
Lluís is the main author of the book: Geological Wonders of the Pallars Sobirà. 10 routes to enjoy the Nature learning; by Lluís Ardèvol et al., 2005. Book written in Catalan with an English version currently in preparation.
