This 7-day field trip combines trekking, pristine scenery, and a travel through time, from the formation of rocks to the prints of the human occupation, with a taste of the Catalan history and cultural heritage. Most of the sites to be visited are not standard tourist destinations. Accommodation is in rural guest houses which offer both excellent cuisine and wines. The trip starts and ends in downtown Barcelona.
